Chef Teena is co-founder of Currysutra Cooking Classes
alongside her mother, Ameeta Arora. Ameeta is a demonstrator,
recipe/menu developer, restaurant consultant, and was co-owner
of Delites of India Restaurant. Ameeta is also co-author
to a cooking book that is in the works for Currysutra. Not
to mention, she is Teena’s educator and coach.
With lifetime cooking experience specializing in Indian
cuisine from all over India, Ameeta has direct industry
experience since 1975. Her passion for Indian food culture
has inspired her to create an endless number of recipes
which she is excited to share with you through Teena. Ameeta
has also passed onto to Teena her very sophisticated spice
recipes to create distinctive blends that include Chai Masala,
Curry Powder, Garam Masala, Sambhar Masala, and Tava Fry
Masala – Currysutra’s signature gourmet flavored
spices!
